1 Ngr. black/pink single on charming small, violet-pink printed Biedermeier decorative letter from Dresden 1856, reverse also with full-surface print, a beautiful letter! Certificate Vaatz and signed Rismondo

2 Ngr. black/blue, touched at top, on cover with NS "2" and K2 "Leipzig" to Berlin and from there with tax "4" forwarded to London (reverse arrival stamp). Interesting foreign letter, which would nevertheless not justify the starting price of 750,- euros if it were not addressed to the "submarine engineer Wilhelm Bauer". W. Bauer (1822-1875) is considered the inventor of modern submarine construction. He built in 1850 the first submarine built in Germany

1/2 Sch. pink-lilac in pair (right stamp very slightly rounded corners) on magnificent and completely originally preserved local registered letter with K2 "Heide" of 2.8.1867. While for normal registered letters a registration fee of 2 1/2 Sch. was charged, apparently for registered local letters a special fee of only 1/2 plus 1/2 Sch. applied. 1 1/3 Sch. carmine, extremely rare single franking on cover with K2 "Altona", 1867, to Bremervörde, postage in the 1st inner-Prussian distance. Single frankings of this stamp at correct postage should not exist more than a handful, greatly undervalued in Michel at 2500,-. Certificate Möller: "Very rare single franking in good condition, the envelope shows signs of age, the stamp is in flawless condition". Also signed Engel

2 Sch. light blue, pair and two singles in good condition on cover "Inhalt ohne Werth" with K2 "Eutin" 1867 to Kl. Schierstedt near Aschersleben. The franking is correct with 8 Sch. (= 6 Sgr.) for a sample shipment up to 4 lots, but on the left the cover is shortened, so the completeness of the franking is not certain. Ex Engel, photo exp. Möller

Denmark "FIRE R.B.S.", brown, fresh cabinet piece single on cover dated 28.2.1854 with NS "118" and K1 "Lauenburg" to Bergedorf with red arrival backstamp. The postage according to the postal treaty "Lauenburg-Bergedorf" of March 1851 was 2 schillings Lauenburg country coin (SLM). The franking with 4 Sk. however corresponded only to 1 1/2 SLM. Here the partial franking was accepted contrary to the rules and only 1/2 schilling additional postage was charged. Danish postage stamps
