Description
Clock, table clock or horizontal clock, bronze, probably South German, last third 17th century. Fire-gilt, with lateral floral reliefs, silver/silvered. Fusee movement, gilt with fusee and chain, 4/4 repetition by means of two hammers on bottom bell. Richly decorated fusee bridge. 9.5 x 10 x 10 cm. Cleaned in 1972. Clock starts, continuous operation not tested.
Uhr, Tisch-Uhr oder Horizontal-Uhr, Bronze, wohl Süddeutsch, letztes Drittel 17. Jh. Feuervergoldet, mit seitlichen floralen Reliefs, Silber/versilbert. Spindelwerk, vergoldet mit Schnecke und Kette, 4/4 Repetition mittels zweier Hämmer auf Bodenglocke. Reich verzierte Spindelbrücke. 9,5 x 10 x 10 cm. Gereinigt 1972. Uhr läuft an, Dauerfunktion nicht geprüft.
