2 Spanschachteln aus der Napoleonischen Mädchenschule in Château d'Écouen. 2 Spanschachteln je mit Resten von Wachssiegeln und Aufschriften in Tinte aus dem Besitz einer Madame Guibourt, Dame de la Maison Impériale (eine der Spanschachteln mit entsprechender Bezeichnung und dem Zusatz a Ecouen ) unter Napoléon Bonaparte (1769 - 1821). 1806 überließ Napoleon das Château d'Écouen nördlich von Paris der Ehrenlegion, um dort eine Schule für weibliche Nachkommen von Trägern dieser Ehrenauszeichnung einzurichten. Das Maison d'éducation de la Légion d'honneur befand sich unter der Leitung von Henriette Campan (1752 - 1822), der ehemaligen ersten Kammerfrau Königin Marie Antoinettes. Zu den Ausbildungszielen zählte weniger eine wissenschaftliche Grundbildung als die Erziehung der Mädchen für ein späteres Leben als Haus- und Ehefrauen mit entsprechenden Fähigkeiten in der Haushaltsführung. Die Bezeichnung Dame de la Maison Impériale weist daraufhin, dass die benannte Madame Guibourt Lehrerin an der bis 1814 in den Räumlichkeiten des Schlosses von Écouen bestehenden Erziehungsanstalt.
