Oil on canvas. Unsigned. On the reverse of the stretcher, erroneously inscribed "Italia und Germania v. Fr. Overbeck". Framed in a wide, fluted moulding with a gold-coloured sight edge. With an expertise by Dr Hans Joachim Neidhardt, Dresden, dated 10.6.1983.
