1879, Berlin cabinet post office, unique mourning envelope of German Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm (later so-called "99-day Emperor" Friedrich III).

Description

1879, Berlin cabinet post office, unique mourning envelope of German Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm (and later so-called "99-day Emperor" Friedrich III) to the famous historian and later politician Dr. Hans Delbrück in Berlin. Addressed in his own handwriting as well as with front paraph "FW" and Italian mixed franking of 50 Cent. Sent in 1879 from a foreign trip to Berlin, with perfect arrival K1 "Berlin C. Cabinets" on the reverse.
