Description
1 Kr. light green, very unusual overfranking of a German Reich postal stationery card 1/2 Gr. brown (P1), used as a postcard in accordance with regulations and without objection (message on reverse, certainly not printed matter) from Nuremberg 1874 to Leipzig. The German Reich card was already not valid in Bavaria, and the slipping through without postage due of this very conspicuous 1 kreuzer franking instead of the regular 2 kreuzer rate is curious.
